Some of Alexander McQueen's pieces are being auctioned off on Housing Works starting this week and ending April 11. A lot of the prices are still very affordable compared to the original values. All of the proceeds to Housing Works help to benefit homeless and low-income New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS.
"CNN's Kyung Lah reports on Japanese rape fantasy games and calls to ban them."
I don't get it.
I don't get it.

But first get hip
The special was shot by photographer Guy Aroch for the clothing lines summer 2010 catelog, take a glimpse at the shots and interview below (via hypebeast.com)
How was 2009? The release of your first album and touring must have been highlights?
Looking back at 2009 is just really overwhelming for me, the fans have carried me so far and I’m just enlightened by all the love I’ve received thus far. The highlight is traveling and meeting all these beautiful young people who feel how I feel. I speak their language.
You worked at BAPE STORE NEW YORK before. How did that come about and why did you want to work there?
I was always a fan of the brand but it just wasn’t something I could afford back then. I remember working there my first couple of weeks in the same uniform cause I didn’t own anything prior to being hired. So it was a dream come true to be able to work at the store I dreamed of shopping in one day. Over a couple of years I might have applied at the store 3 or 4 times before the last attempt that got me hired. I fell in love with BAPE because of their color selection and artwork. I love the style of their cartoons.
How did you first get to know about BAPE?
I discovered what BAPE was when I moved to NY, the store opened up shortly after I moved from Cleveland.
Did you hear any interesting stories about your time there?
I remember Kanye coming in one time and I was helping him get a couple things. I forgot to take a sensor off of one of the jackets he bought and I had to run out the store to catch him before he left. Pretty funny me chasing after him in SoHo haha.
What do you think of BAPE at the moment?
I think BAPE is taking things to amazing new levels. I love the new designs and artwork. They stay true to classic BAPE style but including new and creative twists here and there. I love what they’ve done lately with my MILO character.
Do you have any styling rules when you dress?
I def stick to what works for me. I like to be comfortable, I have a ridiculous amount of t-shirts, some vintage but mostly BAPE. I wear the same jeans everyday a couple months at a time. I have a uniform haha.
Please tell us your plans for 2010.
I’m working on my new album now, “Cudder and the Revolution of Evolution” which is due out this Summer. I have an HBO show I have a supporting role in called “How To Make It In America” airing now. I want to do a couple movies this Summer and some touring. I like staying busy. Its not work, it’s fun.
Time Out NY compiled a list of the most stylish New Yorkers and Kid Cudi was named one. Some other people named were Andrew Mukamal, from Kell On Earth, Simon Doonan, creative director of Barney's, and Rajni Jacques, fashion features editor at Nylon magazine. I do like his style, skirts and all.
I am loving these necklaces by Cast of Vices. They are pieces that have some type of addiction on them that you can wear as a necklace. There's one for all the alcoholics, one for the pill poppers, even one for our coke heads (the little coke bag necklace). The website says:
"Cast of Vices celebrates the inherent design aesthetic of these substances while at the same time casting a critical eye on pop culture and out obsession with self-medication and addiction. When our Rome falls these will be our remains, cigarette butts, pills, bottle caps, and coke bags. The fly is a reminder of the stench of our addictions and can be a companion to any piece."
I wanna get one. Just gotta get addicted to something first.
So our favorite childhood "urban" brand (gag) is back, and with a new name, FB Legacy. I guess because it left a legacy of embarrassment for urban wear and many other horrible things to come after it. It also has an extremely wack and somewhat familiar commercial for it's comeback.
Kinda reminds you of the Apple vs. PC commercials right? Sidenote: Team Apple. Not only is their commercial remarkable similar but their new slogan, "Trend is Short. Style is Forever," sounds awfully similar to Yves Saint Laurent's quote "fashions fade, style is eternal."
Look here FUBU, FB Legacy or whatever you're calling yourself nowadays. I'm going to need for you to get some creativity and originality before you try and make a comeback on these poor, unexpecting children who might not know about your awful clothes. I'm fed up with this nonsense and anyone being able to own a clothing line. America is too reckless for my liking.
I showed yall the foolishness that was the $2,000 pair of jeans. But I got over it, moved on, and found other WTF moments in my life. But now Balmain is back in my life getting on my nerves. And this time with a cotton, ripped up, T-SHIRT, that costs $1,625. Really. I'm offended. And on top of that, who is buying this stuff? I don't care how much money I have, (well maybe if I had Warren Buffett money) I can't see myself buying a $1,625 t-shirt that's ripped to shreds. It better be made from the cotton that Jesus wore when he hung from the cross, that's all I'm saying.

George Bush and Bill Clinton were in Haiti after the earthquake. And while Bill Clinton was greeting the people and being you know, a respectful human, George Bush was being a ruh-tard. After shaking hands with the people, he decides he is going to wipe his hand on Clinton. SMH.
He's been stealing the bleachers at a high school in Chicago since January, why has no one noticed?

When I saw these, I felt the exact same way as when I saw the commercial for shrimp tacos at Taco Bell. They're just wrong. Nike, please stick to selling for the men and sneaker wearing women. This is dreadful.

Both Jeezy (hold the Young) and Trey Songz will be on the cover of Vibe magazine dropping April 13. Vibe Editor Jermaine Hall said, "I wanted to push the sex envelope with Trey’s shoot visually. We were able to come up with shots that are equally entertaining for men and women.” Trey is so nasty.
This year coming to New York City is the first ever full figured fashion week. The fashion week will be in the summer from June 16-19, 2010 and exclusively for plus size women. This is exciting. Not many details yet but I'm sure this will get good press.
I'm sure most of you remember Christian Siriano from Project Runway, best remembered for his extensive use of the word "fierce." Now he's going tohave a new show, Christian Siriano: Having A Moment which debuts April 5 (my birthday! yayyy) on Bravo. Here's a sneak peak:
