After the passing of Alexander McQueen, I though fashion would get a little boring. And his fall 2010 shoe and handbag collection has really shown it will be. He created beautiful pieces of art that definitely cannot be replaced. I wonder how much everything will go for?

Alexander McQueen's Items Being Auctioned Off

Some of Alexander McQueen's pieces are being auctioned off on Housing Works starting this week and ending April 11. A lot of the prices are still very affordable compared to the original values. All of the proceeds to Housing Works help to benefit homeless and low-income New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS.

Alexander McQueen's Fall 2010 Collection (His Last) RIP

As most know, Alexander McQueen committed suicide on February 11, 2010 in London. His last collection, that he personally will have ever designed, is this fall 2010 collection which showed today in Paris. It portrays his creative and shocking tactics and his unusual way to portray fashion. His aesthetic will be missed :( RIP

Hellz Bellz "Long Live McQueen" T-shirt

After the recent death of designer Alexander McQueen, many people are paying homage to the late designer. Hellz Bellz has created a limited one-of-a-kind t-shirt saying "Long Live McQueen." The shirt has actually been in the works for some time now and was going to be released during the fall 2010 collection. But with the designer's recent death they have decided to pay their respects with the t-shirt. Some of the profits will go to What Ever It Takes which promotes leadership in encouraging young influential characters in this generation in taking positive action in the evolving awareness of poverty and environmental degradation. Alexander McQueen Commits Suicide

It's an extremely sad day in the fashion world. Alexander McQueen, most creatively known for his "alien shoes," committed suicide. He was reportedly found dead in his London flat; it's believed he hung himself. A source at the McQueen office confirmed the suicide saying, "It's a tragic loss. We are not making a comment at this time out of respect for the McQueen family." His mother died a few days earlier. So I died when I saw these. They are featured in the spring/summer 2010 ad campaign for Alexander McQueen. I would have absolutely no where to wear them, or could never afford them, but it's good to dream.

Daphne Guinness' Twelve-Inch Heels

Remember yesterday when I ranted on about people wanting to buy the Alexander McQueen spring 2010 twelve-inch heels? I was highly confused because I can't imagine anyone even walking in them. Well, Daphne Guinness, heiress of the Guinness family, wore them last night to a Nars cosmetic event.

She is known for being a style icon and even wore the Nina Ricci heel-less shoes. I couldn't imagine walking around in these. The girl has talent.

Remember the twelve-inch heels Alexander McQueen designed for his spring 2010 collection and the ones Lady Gaga was wearing for her “Bad Romance” video? Well, people are actually trying to buy them. Um, some of these chicks can barely walk in four-inch heels, what the hell are they going to do in twelve-inch heels? They’re trippin. Some were saying they just wanted to buy them as works of art but Alexander McQueen isn’t too sure about that. The whole process for making them is copyrighted so I’m assuming he doesn’t want people trying to cop his ideas. However, he may sell some off for charity. I swear if I see anyone besides Ms. Gaga wearing these…
