So I wrote about these Jimmy Choo's back in December. But little did I know, these bad boys are $2,495 disco-infused shoes. They light up when you dance! What? How does it know your dancing?! Well apparently it does. And they are already sold out. Recession who?

Jimmy Choo Releasing Sneaker Collection

Put away the five inch heels ladies and lace up your sneakers, Jimmy Choo is back at it. Instead of making some of the most fabulous stilettos, they are now venturing into the sneaker department. WWD reports that Jimmy Choo is releasing a capsule collection for pre-fall with eight pairs of sneakers. The collection consists of five pair of high tops and three pair of low tops in colors of black, beige, white, and purple in suede and patent leather. Prices range from $465 for low tops to $595 for high tops. You can purchase them online at jimmychoo.com and in stores come May.

H&M Holiday 2009 Collection

H&M is getting ready for the holidays by launching their Holiday 2009 ad campaign featuring models Sasha Pivovarova, Missy Rayder, Malgosia Bela, Ben Hill and Ryan Thomas, as well as little kids. I’m loving H&M these days, first Jimmy Choo, now great holiday attire for me to splurge on. They’re kickin’ ass.

Jimmy Choo's Crazy Premiere

People do some crazy things. So Jimmy Choo premiered at H&M Saturday, and people camped out Friday night in order to get the items first. Um, calm down please. I am definitely not sleeping on anyone’s street in New York to get some shoes (unless they were giving them out for free). And now, said shoes are selling on eBay for double the price. Someone is always on some type of hustle. But why buy them off eBay when you can go just get some regular Jimmy Choo’s for uh, not that much more? America, we have to do better.

Today is the first day H&M will be selling Jimmy Choo clothes and accessories for men and women. It's only in select H&M's across the nation so make sure to check out the website before you head over there. Most of the Jimmy Choo merchandise will be in New York, California, and Chicago.

That sounds like a fantastic plan to me. Back in July it was announced that Jimmy Choo would be doing a line for H&M, and that alone was fabulous news. More recently, the collection has been leaked online showcasing some of its pieces. It includes shoes (of course), bags, jewelry, clothes and other accessories. There’s an over-the-knee boot that retails for $299, some suede dresses, a sequined jacket and plenty of shiny stuff. Jimmy Choo founder and president said they had a hard time making nice things at an H&M price point but nonetheless made a great day-to-night collection. I don’t know how many people are going to be exactly wearing fringed dresses and sequined jackets to work (unless you’re in the fashion industry), but it’s good to hope :)
