Madonna + Dolce & Gabbana Eyewear Collection

Madonna is pairing up with Dolce & Gabbana to make an eyewear collection called MDG. The collection will feature six pair of sunglasses with MDG on the sides, the M will be written in stars. The frames are selling for $248-$298.

“We’re so excited. This further strengthens our relationship with Madonna, and it was a very constructive experience for us,” mused Gabbana in an exclusive interview. “[Madonna] is very exacting and a professional who seeks perfection in everything she does, and this was no exception.”

I don't know about you, but I really don't want sunglasses "designed" by a celebrity with the logo of a well known designer on them. Seems pretty cheesy and to be blunt, wack. Just my opinion though.

Dolce & Gabbana At Milan Fashion Week

Dolce & Gabbana had a live broadcast of their show on February 28 showcasing beautiful, feminine clothing. There were tastes of lingerie mixed with business coats, lace, fur (of course), and headphones. How chic.

Milan - Men's Fall Fashion Week 2010

The menswear collections wrapped up in Milan yesterday for the fall collections and I'm loving the simplicity yet creativity of the garments. Some of my personal favorites were Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry Prorsum, Prada, and Salvatore Ferragamo. The buyer's who attended the show really liked the trends and clothing presented because of their practicality, as well as the designers providing a "commercially viable selection of informal ware." Here are a few of the designers, click here to see all of the collections from Milan.

Good news all you eBay junkies, eBay will be opening its first holiday pop up shop this November at 3 West 57th St in NYC (sorry out-of-towners; but I have good news for you too, keep reading). The shop will be open from November 20 to 29, except Thanksgiving Day, and with some amazing fashions: L.A.M.B shoes, handbags from Michael Kors and Dooney & Burke, Anthropologie dresses, cosmetics from M.A.C., and Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue and Vera Wang Princess fragrances. There will also be electronics, toys, home and garden items , which will be available through Internet kiosks, handheld tablets, and for you out-of-towners, eBay mobile phone application (so you’re not too left out). There will be a cocktail party November 19 and Black Friday (personally my favorite holiday) as well as a limited quantity of “daily deal” items. More good news, up to $200,000 that is spent in the holiday show will be matched by eBay to support Global Giving, Grammy in the Schools, Oxfam America, Right to Play, Save the Children, Share Our Strength, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Starlight, Toys for Tots, U.S. Fund for Unicef and YouthAIDS eBay. Finally we can buy form eBay and know everything is real!
