The 2009 winner of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award went to Sophie Theallet. She’s an up-and-coming designer whose aesthetic is sort-of a bohemian appeal. Her spring collection included lots of whites, dresses, floral prints, waist belts, and structures that really complimented a woman’s figure. Congratulations to her, this is a wonderful award. She’s following in the footsteps of Alexander Wang who won last year and has been extremely successful ever since. Click here to see her collections.
