Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi had her grand opening of her new Boutique TAGS last night in Smyrna’s West Village. Some of her co-stars, Lisa Wu-Hartwell as well as Kim Zolciak showed up for support. Some other famous guests to show up were Bobby Valentino, photographer Derek Blanks, and Project Runway alumni and designer Michael Knight. I do spend a lot of time in Atlanta, I may go check it out.

Alicia Keys' New Jewelry Line

So as I stated before, I have a serious girl crush on Alicia Keys. She’s gorgeous, has an amazing style, she can sing, and now she’s starting her own jewelry line. The collection, called The Barber’s Daughters, will be premiere Monday at a temporary shop at Collette Blanchard Gallery at 26 Clinton Street in Lower Manhattan. It will only be open Monday and Tuesday to create some buzz throughout the public. Her line will officially be launched fall 2010. The line was “founded with jewelry designer Gisèle Theriault, the collection is comprised of sterling silver and gemstone pieces, each inscribed with poetry and prayers of Masaru Emoto, the author of ‘The Hidden Messages in Water',” according to WWD. It will retail from $85 to $2,500 and will be available on thebarbersdaughters.com. If her line is as classy and beautiful as she is, I will definitely look into buying it.

People Are OBSESSED With La Gaga

Okay I know I talk about Ms. Gaga a lot, but now there’s proof I have good reason. After doing her editorial spread with American Vogue, all the magazines want a piece of her. Vogue Italia, Vogue Paris, W, all want to immerse in her Gaganess. Not only that, one certain “fashion bible” aka WWD is involved in an editorial spread where the fashion beauties are asked to create self-portraits of themselves – lighting, make-up and amazing styling provided of course. So if you’re sick of Ms. Gaga now, you’ll really be sick of her in the months to come. I won’t, lol.

Fashion's Night Out Scheduled for September 10, 2010

Instead of Fashion’s Night Out repeating on September 9, 2010, they instead have planned it for September 10, 2010. They don’t want it to interfere with Rosh Hashanah so they can get the maximum traffic for the retailers. Also, it will be on a Friday night so even more people can participate. This will seriously be like my Christmas next year, can’t wait!
